Quality and Teamwork Course

Rationale

Teamwork is the result of the process, while most corporations have existing teams working amongst themselves, this programme offers an understanding and applications of the essential elements involved in producing effective, quality and motivated teamwork.

Within this understanding, the participants will be able to apply these elements of teamwork and motivation techniques within their workplace.  They should retain their productive work habits and modify unproductive ones, enabling them to produce quality work.


Objectives

At the end of the programme, the participants will be able to:

Develop a better  understanding  within  the  preview  of QUALITY and TEAMWORK that will set the stage towards achieving the total quality the organization desires.

Recognize that their ATTITUDES and HABITS are catalysts toward establishing better team  spirit  in  total quality values and working effectively as units or teams

Demonstrate the skills that bring about better human behaviour relationship in organizational teamwork. 

Identify appropriate techniques to facilitate and maintains high motivation level for high performance teamwork.

TRAINER PROFILE


Mazibah Mohd Zin is a certified Master Trainer and Associate Consultant with extensive experience in corporate and public training.   She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Management and Organizational Behavior from Oregon State University, USA and Master of Business Administration degree with Advanced Certificate in Personnel Administration and Decision Support System from New Hampshire College, Manchester, USA.

She has worked for Cooperative College of Malaysia (CCM) as a lecturer and was responsible for setting up the CCM's Computer Center.  She was involved in designing and conducting courses in the area of computer application packages, cooperative computerization system, leadership, supervisory skill and cooperative law. She left the public sector and joined the manufacturing sector and was attached to the HR Department of Canon Camera and Mattel. She has extensive experience in Employee Relations, Employee Welfare, Recruitment, and Training and Development. While heading the Training and Recruitment Department at Mattel, she conducted training programmes for the supervisory and middle management level in the areas of Human Resources Development, Supervisory and Managerial Development, Domestic Inquiry and Grievances Handling, and Quality Improvement Process Training.

Upon leaving the manufacturing sector, she served an associate consultant with several training provider such as Quest Consulting, Institute Pengurusan Johor (IPPJ), Supervisory Development Institute, PUNB and Boustead Educom.  As a frontline Corporate Trainer and Consultant, she has conducted  Training Programmes such as Clerical Development Programme, The Effective Supervisory Skills, Supervisory Development and Motivational Programme, Positive Work Attitudes, The Effective Telephone Techniques, Training Needs Analysis, Designing and Planning a Training Programme, Train the Trainer, Evaluation Training Effectiveness, How to Hire the Right Staffs, Personnel Management, Enhancing Managerial Skills, Entrepreneurship Programmes, Quality Time Management, Counseling Skills At The Work Place and other management programmes.

She is the lead consultant for Certificate in Training Development (CITD), a certificate programme jointly organised by QUEST Consulting and Institute of Personel Development UK.
